What qualified participants did
- Held ETH, WETH, USDB or BLAST on Blast to earn Blast Points under the published Phase 2 rate.
- Used dapps that distributed Blast Gold, which Phase 2 allocated to dapps by traction and design.
- Received the token airdrop that the Blast blog schedules for 26 June 2024, based on accumulated Points and Gold.
- Held Points or Gold at the 23 January 2025 airdrop that the Blast Foundation describes in its mobile launch Q&A.
- Earns ongoing liquid BLAST incentives by using Blast Mobile, with no set end date or amount according to the Foundation.
Where things stand
We classify the Blast airdrop as ended, though the official record is thinner than for most projects. The Blast blog confirms a first airdrop referenced for 26 June 2024, a Phase 2 rewards period that ran for 12 months and ended in June 2025, and an airdrop to Points and Gold holders on 23 January 2025. It does not publish a snapshot date, a claim deadline, or an eligibility checker, so we list those as not announced.
On 23 January 2025 the Blast Foundation stated that Points and Gold had been phased out in favor of liquid BLAST incentives. It said Season 2 was not over in the usual sense, that 5% was being airdropped to existing Points and Gold holders that day, and that future incentives would be paid on an ongoing basis with no set end date or amount. The post does not say what the 5% is a percentage of, so we do not convert it into a token figure.
The most recent post on the official blog, at the time of our review, was a mainnet release note, and it contained no new airdrop announcement. Pages that advertise a new Blast airdrop, especially ones that mention Bitcoin, Solana or other unrelated tokens, are not connected to this program.
How eligibility worked
Blast ran a two-part rewards system. Users earned Blast Points from balances of ETH, WETH, USDB and, in Phase 2, BLAST. The Phase 2 post gave the rate as 0.06504987 Points per block per ETH, with a block taking two seconds, and said USDB and BLAST earned at the same rate adjusted for their ETH price. Gold, by contrast, was distributed monthly to dapps rather than users, who could then pass it on under criteria that each dapp was expected to publish.
Phase 2 reserved 10 billion BLAST for rewards, split evenly between Points and Gold at 5 billion each. Dapps were ranked by category, Blast nativeness, traction and execution, and incentive design, and the Foundation said new dapps would have separate allocations from existing ones. A Phase 2 vesting rule also applied to users who had vested in Phase 1, based on how closely their Phase 2 Points tracked their earlier activity.
The pages we reviewed do not describe a Sybil-detection method for the airdrop itself, so we do not describe one. What they do show is that the rewards were tied to deposited balances over time rather than a one-off transaction count, and that Gold was filtered through dapps that had to document their own distribution rules.
- Points: earned from ETH, WETH, USDB and BLAST balances.
- Gold: distributed to dapps monthly, then onward under each dapp published rules.
- Phase 2: 10 billion BLAST, split evenly between Points and Gold.
- Points and Gold were phased out on 23 January 2025.
Risks and red flags
The Blast Foundation explained that yield on its Earn app is paid in BLAST, so the effective rate moves with the token price, and that USD held on Blast Mobile is held as USDB, which is backed by DAI. Anyone considering ongoing incentives should read that disclosure, because the incentives are variable and carry exposure that a plain deposit does not.
Blast attracted a lot of scam activity around its launch, including fake claim links. No legitimate claim asks for a seed phrase or a private key. Only use links reached from blast.io or the official blog, and treat any site offering a Blast "airdrop" in exchange for a wallet connection and an approval as unverified.
What to take from this drop
Blast is a useful example of a program that changed its design mid-course. Points and Gold began as a scarce, season-based reward and ended as an open-ended liquid incentive tied to a mobile product. Participants who planned around a final snapshot were left without one, which is a reminder to read the current official rules, not the original ones.
It is also a case where official documentation is incomplete. The Foundation has not published a single post that lists the final eligibility, deadlines and amounts in one place, so we limit this page to what the blog states. If you hold Blast assets and expect a distribution, check blast.io directly and be skeptical of any third-party tracker that quotes exact figures.

Blast airdrop questions
Is the Blast airdrop still open?
We could not find an open claim. The Blast Foundation said on 23 January 2025 that Points and Gold had been phased out and that 5% was airdropped to holders that day.
How do I check Blast airdrop eligibility?
No active eligibility checker or claim portal appears on the official blog. Use blast.io directly and ignore links from replies, messages or third-party sites.
What replaced Blast Points and Gold?
The Foundation replaced them with liquid BLAST incentives that users earn by using Blast Mobile, with no set end date or amount.
