What qualified participants did
- Earned Rh or Au points in the Aster Spectra Stage 0 and Stage 1 programs, above the minimum points threshold
- Received an Aster Gems allocation through a community or partner initiative
- Traded on Aster Pro after Stage 1 ended and earned loyalty rewards
- Connected the wallet on the official airdrop page and claimed within the 30-day window
- For later stages: trade or hold Aster assets, and read each stage page for scoring rules before assuming a payout
Where things stand
Aster is a perpetual futures exchange that runs on its own chain, Aster Chain, and also offers spot trading and yield products. The ASTER token launched on 17 September 2025 as a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain with a maximum supply of 8 billion. The first airdrop, 704 million ASTER unlocked at launch, could be claimed from 17 September to 17 October 2025, and the docs state that unclaimed tokens were redirected to the community rewards allocation. That window is closed.
The docs still contain pages for later points programs, Aster Crystal: Stage 5 and Aster Convergence: Stage 6. The Stage 6 page says points accumulate toward an ASTER airdrop share at the conclusion of the stage, but it does not give an end date, a snapshot date or a token amount, and we could not find an official page confirming how or when that share is paid. Because of that gap we show the project as ended and do not present Stage 6 as a confirmed payout. If Aster publishes terms, this page will be updated.
The tokenomics page also documents changes since launch: 99% of daily platform fees buy back ASTER for stakers, burns run bi-weekly until supply reaches 3 billion, and the team allocation cliff was extended to September 2027. These affect the token, not the claim eligibility.
How eligibility worked
According to the official TGE page, there were three routes to the first airdrop. The first was earning Rh or Au points in the Aster Spectra Stage 0 and Stage 1 programs, with a minimum points allocation required. The second was receiving an Aster Gems allocation from a community or partner initiative. The third was trading on Aster Pro after Stage 1 ended and earning loyalty rewards. Participants checked their amount on the official airdrop page, connected a wallet, and claimed.
The claim itself did not need a token approval. The docs say tokens were credited to the user's Aster Spot account with no gas fee or wallet authorization, and they warn that any page asking for an approval should be treated as a possible phishing site. The only official claim address named is asterdex.com/en/airdrop.
- Spectra Stage 0 and 1 participants needed a minimum points balance.
- Gems recipients were eligible through partner or community programs.
- Aster Pro traders who earned loyalty rewards after Stage 1 were eligible.
How the points stages scored activity
The Stage 6 page describes a weekly epoch from Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC. Points combine trading points, position points, Aster asset points, liquidation points and profit-and-loss points, multiplied by team boosts. Trading points reflect fee contribution, maker liquidity contribution and selected symbol boosts. Position points reward larger and longer-held perpetual positions, and Aster asset points reward using ASTER, asBNB or USDF as margin. The docs state that exact weightings are not disclosed.
On Sybil filtering, the Stage 6 page says adjustments may be applied to farmed points to maintain integrity. It does not describe the detection method, so participants should assume that wash trading and coordinated self-trading can be discounted or removed. The scoring also includes profit and loss and liquidation components, which means that volume alone is not the whole picture.
None of this is a guarantee of a reward. The docs describe how points accumulate, not what a point is worth.
What to take from this drop
The Aster launch shows two things that recur in perp DEX distributions. First, a short claim window matters: 30 days was all that was given, and unclaimed tokens were reallocated. Second, a points program that stays open after the first distribution is not the same as a confirmed second airdrop. Read the stage page for an explicit statement of what the points convert to before you commit capital or fees.
Security is the practical point. The official claim flow required no approval, so a site that asks you to sign a token approval, enter a seed phrase or connect to an unfamiliar domain to "unlock" ASTER is not following the documented process. Never share your seed phrase or private key, and navigate to Aster by typing the address yourself.
Trading perpetuals involves leverage and the risk of liquidation. Chasing points with volume you would not otherwise trade can cost more than the points are worth, and the docs say nothing about their value.

Aster airdrop questions
Is the Aster airdrop still open?
The first ASTER airdrop claim window ran from 17 September to 17 October 2025 and is closed. Later points stages are documented, but the official pages we opened do not publish a payout amount or deadline.
How do I check Aster airdrop eligibility?
The official docs named the airdrop page on asterdex.com as the only place to check and claim, and that claim period has ended. Do not use any other site that offers to check eligibility.
Did claiming ASTER require a wallet approval?
No. The official docs say the airdrop was credited to the Aster Spot account without gas fees or wallet authorization, and warn that any page asking for an approval should be verified as official.
