What to do, in order
-
Step 1
Check that no assets remain on the old Superposition chain; the team set a deadline of September 8, 2026, 12:00 UTC
-
Step 2
Use the official bridge routes listed in the team update if anything was left behind
-
Step 3
Use 9lives, the team's prediction market now running on Arbitrum One, only if it suits you
-
Step 4
Track your points in 9lives, where Superposition Points continue to accrue
-
Step 5
Watch superposition.so and the official X account for any token or reward terms
Where things stand
Superposition launched as a layer 3 chain built on the Arbitrum stack, marketed in its docs as the first chain that pays you to use it. In mid-2026 the team published a user update announcing that it was moving back to Arbitrum One. Users were told to move all assets off the Superposition chain by September 8, 2026 at 12:00 UTC, with USDC needing to leave by September 7.
Superposition now describes itself as an incentive-driven product house. Its flagship application is 9lives, a short-term onchain prediction market that runs from Arbitrum One. The same update says Superposition Points will continue to accrue into 9lives and carry over into the new product.
No token, snapshot or airdrop has been announced in the official sources we opened. We list Superposition as potential only because a points balance exists and continues to grow. Given the shutdown of the chain, this is a weak signal, and we keep the score low.
How points work now
The official update is short on mechanics. It confirms that points carry over and keep accruing through 9lives, but it does not say how many points each action earns, whether points from the old chain and from 9lives are weighted the same way, or what they might be exchanged for.
The Superposition docs describe utility mining, a model where users are rewarded for protocol-specified on-chain activity, along with a probabilistic reward function meant to limit Sybil abuse. Those pages describe the design of the former chain. They do not set out a points-to-token rule, and we found no current rule set for the 9lives points.
If you use 9lives, note that it is a prediction market: you put funds at risk on outcomes, and losses are part of normal use. Using it only to accumulate points means accepting those losses for an undefined reward.
- Points carry into 9lives per the official update.
- No conversion rate, token or snapshot is published.
- Prediction market positions can lose their full value.
Risks and red flags
Chain shutdowns create two risks. The first is stranded funds: anything left on the old chain after the migration deadline may be hard or impossible to recover. The second is fake recovery services, which approach users offering to rescue stuck assets in exchange for a fee or a seed phrase. Use only the bridge routes in the official update, and never share a seed phrase.
Bridging itself carries risk. Each route in the official update is operated by a different provider, transfers can take time to finalize, and sending a token through the wrong route can leave it stuck. Move a small test amount first, confirm it arrives, and only then move the rest.
Because no token exists, any site offering a Superposition or 9lives token claim should be treated as phishing. The prediction market itself has smart contract and market risk, and access may be restricted in some jurisdictions.
What to take from this drop
Superposition is no longer a chain to farm. What remains is a points balance that the team says carries into 9lives, with no published plan for what those points will become.
The official update also lists what changed for each product. 9lives runs from Arbitrum One, and outstanding markets on the Superposition version were to be resolved by the migration date. Purr Stream was shut down. Meow Domains was set to carry over to Arbitrum One over time. For bridging out, the update pointed users to the Arbitrum native bridge for ETH, the Superposition bridge for native bridged assets such as WBTC and ARB, and a separate route for USDC.
Anyone who had funds on the chain and has not checked since the summer should do so now through those official routes. The deadline has passed, so recovery may no longer be possible for some assets, and that is exactly the situation that scam recovery services target.
If you still hold points, there is no action needed beyond keeping access to the same wallet and watching official channels. If you have no history with the project, there is little reason to start for airdrop purposes alone. We will update this page if a token or reward plan is announced.
