What to do, in order

  1. Step 1

Open the Extended app from the official docs and connect an EVM or Starknet wallet

  2. Step 2

Deposit supported collateral such as USDC; EVM users can deposit from several chains, Starknet users only from Starknet

  3. Step 3

Trade perpetuals or spot markets; the docs list qualifying trading and liquidity-related activity as point sources

  4. Step 4

Optionally deposit USDC into the Extended Vault and receive XVS, which counts at 90% of its value as trading collateral

  5. Step 5

Check your balance and weekly distribution history on the official points page at app.extended.exchange/points

Where things stand

Extended is a perpetuals exchange built by a team of former Revolut employees. According to its docs, it lists more than 100 markets across crypto, equities, FX, commodities and indices, with leverage of up to 100x. USDC is the base collateral, and the exchange settles through a zk-enabled stack that inherits Starknet security. The team describes a planned application-specific chain for matching and sequencing, with details still to be published.

The Points Program page is the only official reference for rewards, and it is written cautiously. Points are distributed weekly, no more than 600,000 can be allocated in any one week, and the docs reported a cumulative total of 69,235,805 points as of 06.10.2026. The page says points may be taken into account in a future token distribution or other benefit, but that no allocation method, conversion ratio, claim process, distribution date, staking option or token value has been confirmed.

Because there is no officially confirmed token, we list Extended as potential. Figures you may see elsewhere, such as a fixed share of supply for points holders, do not appear in the official documentation we opened and should be treated as unverified.

How points are earned

The docs say points may be allocated for qualifying trading activity, qualifying liquidity-related activity, and other contributions the team recognises, such as product testing, bug reports and structured feedback. Points can also be allocated after operational errors or incidents that affected users, although the docs stress that such allocations do not imply a monetary value.

Extended does not publish its full formula. It says it may apply weightings, eligibility thresholds, exclusions and anti-abuse controls, and that details may be withheld where disclosure could enable gaming. In practice, that means two accounts with similar volume can receive different allocations. Points are not transferable, cannot be bought or sold, and confer no ownership or governance rights.

Separately from points, the Extended Vault accepts USDC deposits and issues Extended Vault Shares (XVS). XVS earns yield from liquidations, lending and a share of exchange fees, and counts at 90% of its value toward trading equity. Vault deposits have a 24-hour lockup per deposit, and returns are variable and can be negative.

  • Weekly distributions, capped at 600,000 points per week.
  • Trading and liquidity activity count; exact weightings are not disclosed.
  • Balances are shown at app.extended.exchange/points.

Anti-abuse rules and risks

The Points Program page is unusually explicit about what can cost you points. Allocations may be withheld, reduced or cancelled for wash trading or artificial volume, coordinated sign-up abuse, multi-account manipulation, bots used to exploit the program, activity from restricted jurisdictions, and calculation errors. Extended may also request information to verify eligibility. The docs advise users not to trade, deposit or increase activity solely to earn points.

The usual perp risks apply. High leverage can lead to liquidation, and volume generated only for points can cost more in fees, spread and funding than any future reward is worth. The Vault carries its own risks, listed in the docs, including liquidation-processing losses, smart contract and oracle risk, and possible partial or total loss. EVM deposits and withdrawals route through a third-party bridge, so processing times and limits can vary.

Use only links from the official docs. Extended has not opened any token claim, so any site offering an Extended token claim today should be treated as a phishing attempt. Never share a seed phrase, and consider a dedicated wallet for exchange activity.

What to take from this drop

Extended has a working product, published fee schedules and a clearly written points policy, which puts it ahead of many speculative farms. What is missing is the part that matters for valuing points: there is no confirmed token, allocation share, ratio or snapshot.

The published economics of the venue are concrete. Starknet wallet users can only deposit from and withdraw to Starknet, while EVM users can deposit from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Arc, Polygon, Avalanche and BNB Chain, with per-transaction limits that depend on the asset and chain. Makers whose share of 30-day maker volume reaches 0.5% to 5% receive automatic rebates of 0.002% to 0.010%, paid daily when the accrued amount is at least $10. Points sit on top of these costs and rebates with no stated value.

A reasonable approach is to treat points as a possible extra on top of a venue you would use anyway, keep position sizes you can afford to lose, and rely on the Points Program page rather than social posts, since the docs state that Discord and X updates do not override that page. We will update this entry if Extended publishes token or distribution terms.

Extended airdrop questions

Is there an Extended token airdrop?

Not officially. The Points Program page says points may be considered for a future token distribution, but no allocation method, conversion ratio, claim process or date has been confirmed.

How many Extended points are distributed each week?

The docs set a ceiling of 600,000 points per weekly distribution. This is a maximum, not a promise that the full amount is distributed every week.

Where can I check my Extended points?

Individual balances and distribution history are shown at app.extended.exchange/points, according to the official docs.
