What to do, in order
-
Step 1
Get perps access with an invite code from an existing trader, or check whether an earlier waitlist sign-up already grants access
-
Step 2
Connect a wallet at app.arcus.xyz and deposit; funds are converted to and settled in the USDG stablecoin
-
Step 3
Activate access by depositing or trading perps within 30 days of redeeming an invite code
-
Step 4
Trade spot stock tokens or perpetuals, make markets, or keep collateral on Arcus to earn Season 1 points
-
Step 5
Check weekly distributions every Wednesday at 3PM ET on the Points Dashboard
Where things stand
Arcus is an exchange on Robinhood Chain that offers spot trading of stock tokens and perpetual futures on crypto, single stocks, commodity ETFs and index ETFs. It launched on July 1, 2026 with spot trading and a perps waitlist, and its launch post says it was developed by the team behind dYdX. Deposits from many chains, exchanges or card payments are converted into USDG, a stablecoin issued by Paxos, which Arcus uses for settlement.
On October 1, 2026, Arcus announced its points program. Season 0 points were distributed to private beta traders for activity between July 1 and September 30, but the amounts remain redacted on the dashboard and will be revealed later. Season 1 started the same day, with a fixed 250,000 points distributed each week until the program ends, no later than the end of H1 2027.
The announcement describes points as a participation metric only, with allocation at the sole discretion of Arcus, and refers to Annex C of the Protocol Terms for the full program terms. Nothing in the pages we opened mentions a token, a conversion ratio or a snapshot, so we list Arcus as potential.
How points are earned
The ways to earn that Arcus lists include trading on Arcus, making markets with tight and deep quotes, and keeping deposits on the platform. Allocations weigh how you trade, not only volume, and the factors can change over time. The weekly total does not grow with platform adoption, so a larger user base means a smaller share for each participant.
Some activity currently earns more. Trading stock tokens and other real-world assets carries a boost, and so does trading RWA perpetuals outside US regular hours, defined as 8PM to 4AM ET plus weekends and US market holidays. Spot swaps executed through Arcus from Robinhood Wallet are also eligible for boosted spot points. Arcus says boost categories can change.
Perps access is invite-only. Existing traders earn invite codes as their perpetuals volume grows, at one code per $1M. Anyone redeeming a code must deposit or trade perps within 30 days or lose access. An update on October 1 also granted access to part of the earlier waitlist without a code.
- Fixed 250,000 points per week, distributed Wednesdays at 3PM ET.
- Boosts for RWA trading and for off-hours RWA perps.
- Season 0 amounts are hidden until a later reveal.
Anti-farming rules and risks
Arcus says wash trading, self-matching, deliberate clustering, rapid churning of deposits and withdrawals, and other detected gaming will reduce or remove point allocations. It also reserves the right to slash points for accounts it determines to be fraudulent or in breach of the Protocol Terms, with reduced and slashed points reallocated to other users.
Stock tokens are tokenised claims against an issuer rather than direct share ownership, and the docs list risks such as limited redemption access, tracking divergence from the underlying and uncertain regulation. Off-hours RWA perps, which earn a boost, also trade under higher margin requirements and price bands when the underlying market is closed, and liquidity can be thinner then. Fee rates are served by the API and can change without notice.
Invite codes are shared openly, which makes them a common lure for phishing. Use arcus.xyz, app.arcus.xyz and docs.arcus.xyz only, never share a seed phrase, and treat any Arcus token claim as fraudulent while no token exists.
What to take from this drop
Arcus is early, active and transparent about mechanics: a fixed weekly pool, an end date, published boosts and written penalties. The team background also draws attention from airdrop hunters, but that is expectation, not an announcement.
On costs, Arcus charges no fee on spot stock token trades and no deposit fee of its own, although third-party conversion or card processing fees may apply and are shown before you confirm. Perpetuals use maker and taker tiers based on 30-day filled volume, with rates published through the API rather than in a fixed table, and higher tiers can earn maker rebates capped at the taker fee on the same fill. Liquidations carry a separate fee. Funding payments are transfers between traders rather than fees, but they still affect the cost of holding a position.
If you are outside restricted regions and want 24/7 access to stock tokens or RWA perps, points are a reasonable extra. Do not chase off-hours boosts with leverage you would not otherwise use. We will update this page when Arcus reveals Season 0 or publishes token terms.
