What qualified participants did

  1. Earned Linea Voyage XP and onchain activity that counted toward the activity-based criteria.
  2. Checked eligibility on the official Linea claim site.
  3. Claimed LINEA from the eligible wallet within the 90-day claim window.
  4. Used only official Linea domains, since the project warned that scam sites imitate the claim.
  5. Today: the window has passed, so nothing is open to claim.

Where things stand

Linea is a layer 2 network developed by Consensys, and its LINEA token went live with an airdrop claim on September 10, 2025. The project stated that tokens were claimable for 90 days. In an October 2025 update, Linea reported that more than 90 percent of eligible wallets had already claimed, with the window around its midpoint. The 90 days have long passed, so the status is ended. The pages we opened do not give the exact closing date or the amount left unclaimed.

The tokenomics documentation gives the structure of the supply. The maximum supply is 72,009,990,000 LINEA. Eighty-five percent is allocated to the ecosystem, of which 75 percent sits in an ecosystem fund managed by the Linea Consortium and unlocks over ten years, and 10 percent goes to early contributors. Within that, 9 percent is for early-user airdrops based on onchain activity, including Linea Voyage XP, and 1 percent for strategic builders. The remaining 15 percent belongs to the Consensys treasury, locked for five years. The documentation states there is no allocation to private investors, insiders, employees or team members.

No new Linea airdrop is announced in the official pages we reviewed. We could not verify a Linea token identifier on a price aggregator at the time of writing, so no market link is attached to this page.

How eligibility worked

The documentation says airdrop eligibility was determined using activity-based metrics, including Linea Voyage XP and onchain metrics. It does not publish a full scoring formula in the pages we opened, and the Linea sybil-filtering methodology is not described there either, so we do not describe it.

The pages are explicit about how to claim. Linea said to connect and claim only on its official claim website, shared through its official channels. It said not to interact directly with the token contract and not to use third-party tools, and that there is no delegation for Linea, so any delegation offer is a scam. It also advised against sending tokens to the token contract address, because they cannot be recovered.

The 90-day window gave claimants time to avoid paying high gas fees during congestion, and the project said there was no need to rush.

  • Activity-based criteria, including Linea Voyage XP and onchain metrics.
  • 90-day claim window starting September 10, 2025.
  • No allocation to private investors, insiders or team members, according to the documentation.

What participants did and the risks that remain

Participants connected an eligible wallet to the official claim site, checked their allocation and claimed. The project published a security post listing official domains and channels (linea.build, its X account and Discord) and telling users never to share a secret recovery phrase, private keys or personal information, and that Linea would never ask for them during the claim.

Warnings from that post remain a useful checklist: be wary of emails urging you to verify your wallet or claim tokens now, ignore offers of multiplied rewards, and report scams through the official Discord. With the window closed, a page asking you to claim LINEA is likely a scam.

What to take from this drop

Linea shows a long-running points programme converting into a token. Users who accumulated Voyage XP and onchain activity over time were the target, and the distribution was comparatively broad: the airdrop pool was a defined share of supply and fully unlocked at claim.

The practical lessons are the usual ones for any points-based campaign: expect the rules to be published close to launch, rely on official documentation for the exact criteria, and treat deadlines as firm. This page is informational and not financial advice.
